MOT & Services

Whats the Difference ?

The difference between a service and a MOT is that an MOT is an annual inspection for safety such as a worn out light bulb or a faulty brake light where on the other hand a service is ro replace or repair any worn out vehicle components. A full service will make sure that wear and tear is taken care of where as a MOT doesnt. When you look after your car it tends to be more affordable to run as the engine and components are working to their best, it also will have a longer life expectancy.

For more information you should call or visit us and we will guide you on which service your car needs. An interim service checks the main parts of your vehicle and the service should be carried out every 6 months or every 6,000 miles. in total this service takes around 1.5 hours to be completed. A full service is a complete check of the whole car, which should be carried out annually or every 12,000 miles and on average takes around 3 hours.
